I was referred to Dr. Joe McGilligan because I had a small growth on my cheek that was causing me some concern. At my consultation Dr. Joe suspected it was a Basal Cell Carcinoma and suggested it should be removed. The operation was carried out there and then and without any pain or discomfort. Although Dr. Joe advised he would have to make an incision wide enough to make sure all of the area was clear the resulting "scar" is extremely fine and started to heal beautifully within the first 24 hours. I am confident that within a very short while there will be little evidence of this operation having been carried out. Dr. Joe called and emailed me with the histology result and confirmed his original diagnosis also advising no further attention was required. Dr. Joe is friendly, approachable and thoroughly professional. I have great confidence in him and should the occasion arise at any time in the future would not hesitate to contact him again. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

I had a great experience visiting Dr Joseph McGilligan. I had two hard lumps on my leg. He diagnosed within 30 seconds, explained thoroughly what they were and said that they could be removed that day if I was able to wait around for 45 mins, which I did. Took about 30 mins to cut them out and stitch me up. Very careful and calm, and left very happy indeed. The scars have heeled beautifully too.

I found Dr McGilligan to be patient, thoughtful & informative. Great care was taken to thoroughly explain the medical procedure(s) that I undertook whilst the minor ops themselves were completed skilfully & pain-free. Dr McGilligan has a very pleasing manner and made me feel relaxed & confident throughout. I would have no hesitation in recommending his services and those of his practice. I will be using the West Byfleet practice again in the New Year.

We sought the advise of of the Private GP clinic in West Byfleet to have my daughters birthmark remove. The whole procedure from start to finish was efficient and made very easy by all members of staff. My daughter was see by Dr McGilligan to have a birth mark removed in June of 2023. Dr Joseph explain all aspects of the treatment and advise us on the recommend procedure he undertook to remove her birth mark. Dr Joseph took his time with us during out appointment and was personable and made my daughter feel complete at easy. I would recommend Dr Mc Gilligan.

Dr Joe was personable and approachable from the start. He took a holistic approach which was deeply reassuring and showed excellent, detailed and specific knowledge on all matters discussed. He was empathetic and kind and I left in a much better position than before the appointment.
